Have a look at the NCETM materials – what makes the greater depth questions more challenging? How do the required skills levels differ?

8 Unpicking Mastery and Greater Depth
Choose a curriculum statement for your chosen year group and create a ‘mastery’ and ‘greater depth’ question based on it. How will the skills differ? How will you extend and challenge?
