2 What are multiple meaning words?
Sometimes, a word has more than one meaning. When we see it in a sentence, we have to follow the following steps: 1. Think of all of the meanings of the word. 2. Look at the context (the words around it.) 3. Decide which meaning best fits the meaning of the sentence.

3 For example… My teacher told me to make sure that the Chromebook was charged before taking my AR test. CHARGED has more than one meaning. It can be a past tense verb meaning “to run forcefully toward something” OR It can mean to have battery power. I know computers cannot run towards something, and I also know that they require battery power. Therefore, the second definition has to be correct.
