1. School Uniform
* Children should be dressed in their school uniform at all times, unless stated otherwise in the daily Express . * Send an extra pair of clothes in a zipped bag in case of emergencies . ( appropriate for the season ). * Black shoes is a must. * Socks should be blue / red .

2. Attendance
Children should not miss more than 10 days during the year for any reason.
If your child is ill , please send a note to their class teacher .
Avoid bringing your child late to school as they might miss important parts of the First lesson .
Children should not come after 8:45 am .

3. ID Cards Each child will receive an ID card with his picture on it .
This card should be used by Parents when they pick them up.
They are also used when you send someone else to pick up your child .

4. Supervisions Morning 7:30 am ……. 8:30 am End of the Day 2:30 pm
Children can stay in school till 3:30 pm under the supervision of teachers.

5. Daily Express Each child will be given a
”Daily Express” by their class teacher .
The purpose of it is to send notes and information to the parents .
It is also used by the parents
to send concerns to the teacher about her child .

6. Computer Children will be going to the computer lab once a week .
They use a variety of age – appropriate programs that reinforce logic ,Math and
reading skills .

7. Music Our music teacher ,Ms.Abeer
will be teaching your child many wonderful songs .
They will be scheduled to have music twice weekly .
Research has proved that
music boosts the IQ of children.

The newsletter will include
all the work covered
throughout the week in areas
of Literacy , Math, Science ,
Social studies ,Art , Music ..etc

10. School Opens Our First day is Tuesday , September 12 - First week
8:30 am to 12:00 pm .
Second week
Regular school time
8:30 am to 2:30 pm .
Parent are welcome to stay until their
child settles down.
Feel free to pick your child up early
( if you wish ) on their first week .
Be open with your child when you
decide to leave .
Don’t just disappear !!

11. Arrival / Dismissal Arrival times :
The school doors open at 7:45 am. .
Dismissal times :
The school day ends at 2:30 pm .
Children on the school bus start to
leave school around 2:00 pm .

12. Birthday The last Thursday of each month. Contact the teacher a few
days in advance if you are
planning to celebrate your
son’s / daughter’s birthday .

13. Conferences Parent / Teacher conferences are held three times / year .
Our first conference will be
Saturday , October 14 .
Parents are welcome to schedule
additional conferences at anytime
throughout the year if the need
arises .
Monthly meetings are for elected
Parents representatives .
