Ex. Birth, starting various grades in school, religious ceremonies, siblings were born, joining sports teams, etc. Chronological = starting with the earliest

How to Read a Timeline The higher the number in BC the earlier the event happened Ex BC came before 1000 BC The higher the number in AD – the later (or more recent) the event happened. Ex AD came after 1000 AD 1 AD 1000 AD 2000 BC 1000 BC 2000AD 476 AD - Western Roman Empire falls 1792 BC - Hammurabi began his rule over Babylon 404 BC – Peloponnesian Wars End 1642 AD - Sir Isaac Newton was born
