4 Candidate for the Director must:
Have a university degree. Have a teacher’s qualification and teaching experience. Have no less than one year experience in managing a group (groups) of people; Be able to use information technologies. Speak one of the three EU working languages. Head’s competences assessed by NASE must be no less than satisfactory level.

7 Competence assessment procedure in NASE
Assessment is conducted to groups of 3 – 4 candidates. A group of 3 – 4 assessors is formed for each assessment. Assessment lasts approximately 4 hours with breaks between the tasks. Tasks for the assessment process are universal and non-specialized for specific types of institutions.

8 Methods of assessment in NASE
1. Competence-based in-depth interview. 2. Individual practical management task. 3. Group management task. 4. General thinking ability (cognitive) test.

9 Five levels of competence assessment
Very poor (1 point) Poor (2 points) Satisfactory (3 points) High (4 points) Excellent (5 points).

10 Let’s think: Is it possible to prepare yourself…
… to be self-confident? … to be positive and broad-minded? … to be able to develop people, reveal their potential and give support? … to be able to listen, hear and understand? But... ... to be able to share your leadership?
