2. Purpose – Growing of cucumbers at home.
Tasks: 1). Learn how to grow cucumbers from seedlings by myself.
2). Gather in the harvest of cucumbers of June.
Topicality: There is too much nitrate in cucumbers from supermarkets but cucumbers grown in my own kitchen garden have no nitrate at all.

3. The history of cucumber
Cucumbers became famous as vegetables six thousand years ago. Their historical homeland is Western India. And its fruit is a berry. What else is known about the cucumber?

This culture was already known to the Greeks and in the era of Charlemagne was already widespread in Central Europe.
Cucumber is one of the most famous vegetables. Salted, canned, pickled, fresh – all of these cucumbers are loved by many. And the cucumber is used in cosmetics. Cucumbers are not only tasty, but also very useful.

6. Be careful not to plant them in the kitchen garden until it is really warm outside. In July or at the beginning of August you’ll see tiny cucumbers.

7. Сonclusion: cucumbers grown in kitchen gardens are much tastier than cucumbers from supermarkets.
