Not- for profit/foundation 14 employees (12 FTE circa) Board (3-monthly meetings) Change advisory Board (2-monthly meetings) Owned by all public institutions in higher education Founded in 2003 Institutions are represented in several groups Working & advisory groups for policy, requirements and technical support Business plan with focus on themes like Quality of all operational tasks/service (operational excellence) Support for broadening the enrolment chain Focus more on specific needs of students and institutions International study

What is Studielink? a web portal for application / enrolment for all students One portal for the complete enrolment proces a broker for exchange of information between portal and different universities and partners Studielink is a smart 'postman' that questions students, collects data from various sources and delivers to institutions and students. Enrolment chain management and support for the HiEd process of application and enrollment of students for bachelor and master studies Studielink does not own processes and data, these are owned by the educational institutions.

Studielink processes NB: datamaining vs. Privacy = a challenge!
registration of student data through a portal; data enrichment (personal data from national base register and former education data from the diplomaregister); communication with students on enrolment progress; data exchange with universities, government, Dutch Immigration Office, bank-providers, study orientation websites; production of data for research, statistics and policy/effects use. NB: datamaining vs. Privacy = a challenge!

Collaboration with Dutch banks so students can mandate the institutions for collecting tuition fees through their telebanking environment

From drawing lots to a selection based procedure the Netherlands to improve diversity/equality Institutions select students and assign a ranking number for numerus clausus study programmes; Students accept placement through Studielink; 2016/2017: first year; complex process, complex implementation; Key success factor: collaboration with universities, dep.
