Linear Measurement

2. Line Segment – has 2 endpoints. Can be measured.
- Named by the 2 letters that are the endpoints with a bar on top.

3. Between – point that is collinear with 2 or more other points
Between – point that is collinear with 2 or more other points. Not necessarily in the middle.
Ex. M is between A and B.
AM = 15, MB = Find AB.
Ex. Find y and PQ if P is between Q
and R, PQ = 2y, QR = 3y + 1, PR = 21

4. 3. Congruent – two or more segments having the same length
