6. What it means to “bless” the LORD

1Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and all that is within me,
bless His holy name!

10. It means to speak well of His greatness and goodness — and really mean it from the depths of your soul.

11. What David is doing in the first
and last verses of this psalm, when he says, “Bless the Lord, O my soul,” is saying that authentic speaking about God’s goodness and greatness must come from the soul.

WE ARE NOT blessing GOD.
When we recite this Psalm,
we are expressing how blessed our Lord is – “Blessed are YOU, LORD our God!”

The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; Blessed be the name of the Lord.”

nor charge God with wrong.

32. King Nebuchadnezzar's Dream

35. 16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king,
“O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need

from the burning fiery furnace,
and He will deliver us
from your hand, O king.

walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.”
