Dimensions (measurements)

4. Annotation on Design Ideas…
Measurements must feature on each design…
Horizontal mm x 100mm
Vertical mm x 150mm
You MUST state why you have created the design… At least three positive features/aspects.
How does the design link to your target consumer (11 – 14 years). Look at your questionnaire results and summary to get this information.
Which woodworking joints are you incorporating…Butt, Mitre or Finger joints.
Decorative plaque – Materials = Acrylic. Manufacturing = Laser cutter.
 Where will the plaque be placed on the money box? Theme/design? Sizes?
Wooden frame must suit the shape of your design!

5. Final Design… Checklist… The final design must be drawn on A3 paper.
Coloured in
Drawn clearly with accuracy (ruler for straight lines)
Fully labelled (annotated)
Dimensions (measurements)
*Elevations (ariel, top, sides, base, etc)
*Scaled drawing (to fit on sheet)
3D perspective - using isometric paper
*If time allows

6. Final Design…
Lunch time workshop available to catch up or get any work finished off – Monday and Tuesday lunch-times!
