4. OK Grades 3–8 Benchmark Assessment Highlights
The new Grades 3–8 Benchmark Assessments are:
No stakes – Instructional tools and support
Aligned to Common Core – provide opportunities for educators to transition instruction to the new CCSS
Timely – Data online within 24 hours
Quick/Easy to use – User-friendly system

5. Acuity Grades 3–8 Tests Math Form Design: Language Arts Form Design:
Each form Grade 3–8 will contain 20 MC items and 2 CR items.
The two (2) CR items will be located at the end of each form.
Language Arts Form Design:
Each form Grade 3–8 will contain between 18 and 22 MC items and 2–3 CR items dependent upon the grade level.
The two (2) or three (3) CR items will be dispersed throughout the MC items.
Writing Form Design:
Each form Grade 3–8 will contain one (1) paired passage and one (1) writing prompt. (CTB will provide additional information)
