Een Explain how the Earth’s rotation and revolution about the Sun affect its shape and is related to seasons and tides.

3 Why does the Moon have Phases?

7 Tides Tides: Periodic rise and fall of large bodies of water.
Caused by the gravitational interaction between Earth and the Moon. Gravity is the force that causes tides.

8 Tides On the side of the Earth closest to the moon, the force of gravity is greater. Gravity pulls water in the direction of the moon, creates a tidal bulge. Side farthest from Moon water is also pulled and it creates an equally large bulge.
