2 Project Overview 393 Displays
Featured prominently in store, as part of the “PillowFort” store within a store. Display leverages product (TeePee) and display elements. Litho-Laminated Corrugated Filler provides structural rigidity and contrast to the Grey and white Tee-Pee, bringing together the branding color. PillowFort Flag was designed to call attention to the shop. Flags are printed two-sided and thermoformed styrene. Small parachute man adds a whimsical touch. GNC also provided the aluminum pole and designed the custom mounting bracket that attaches the collapsible, aluminum flag pole system to the TeePee. GNC also produced other signage around the PillowFort area.

3 What is PillowFort? The TeePee display is the visual anchor to a new area in Target called “Pillowfort”. Here is a story from the Minneapolis Star Tribune discussing Target’s strategy around PillowFort. The image to the right was featured in the Star Tribune paper on Sunday, February 7th. neutral-approach-with-new-kids-home- brand/ / Target wanted something fun and whimsical as the focal point to convey the brand image of PillowFort, which is a gender-neutral children’s home brand. Utilizing a saleable product to integrate as a display component proved challenging, but it provides a unique combination of actual saleable product with highly creative and engineered display elements. Target is listening to the desire of its customers to return to the unique, creative products that can only be bought at Target. Additionally, the desire of non- gender children’s products allows for more flexibility in assortment.
