13. Rack Installation Overview
A separate rail kit is required for each module. The rail kit supports the UPS in a 19-inch rack enclosure. Mounting brackets secure the UPS to the rail kit.

14. Web/SNMP Card
The Web/SNMP card allows you to connect your UPS directly to an Ethernet network and the Internet. It allows you to monitor and manage your UPS with a standard web browser and SNMP, while simultaneously providing graceful shutdown for multiple computer systems over the network.

Bypass Mode
The off button shuts off power to the output receptacles, meaning that it also
shuts down the connected equipment. However, to shut off the UPS completely,
you must remove the line cord from the wall socket.
When the unit is installed, you must press the on button before power is available
at the output receptacles.
For more information about selecting 100, 110, 120, or 127 Vac, read the User’s
Guide.
The load level graph displays the amount of load connected to UPS in normal
operation and the amount of battery power remaining in battery mode. For the
self-test, ABM, site wiring fault, overtemperature, and overload alerts, the
corresponding LED flashes. When no alert conditions exist, the LEDs
correspond to the load that is connected to the UPS. See the User’s Guide for
more details.

16. Hot-swappable Batteries
The UPS includes two battery trays that can be easily replaced without shutting down the connected equipment.

17. PowerPass Distribution Modules (PPDM)
The PPDM is equipped with a maintenance bypass switch so that you can replace the UPS without shutting down the connected equipment. Four different PPDMs offer different output receptacles or hardwired input/output.
