2. Subjunctive for hopes and wishes
After verbs for hopes or wishes you can use a second verb in the infinitive.
The subject of the infinitive or infinitive phrase is the same as that of the conjugated verb.

3. Subjunctive for hopes and wishes
If the subject of the second verb is different from that of the first verb, then add the word que and conjugate the second verb.
The phrase formed using que is called a subordinate clause.

4. Subjunctive for hopes and wishes
If the verb in the main clause expresses a wish, suggestion, or recommendation AND if there is a change of subject, use the subjunctive mood in the subordinate clause.
