MEMORY VERSE: “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things” (Philippians 4:8).

Introduction Friends of Jesus are boys and girls who have turned away from their sins and have accepted Jesus into their lives. Such children are living a life that is holy according to the word of God. Though they live in an evil society, Their behaviour is different from that of sinners around them. They will not allow Satan and bad things around to hinder them from pleasing God and getting to heaven.

1.AN EVIL SOCIETY Romans 1:18-27
our society is bad and full of people doing things that are bad in the sight of God because they allow Satan to be their master and controller. Those that have yield themselves to Satan are involve in bad activities which include idol worship, killing, wickedness, hatred, fighting, disobedience to parents, cursing, stealing and other Evil things which God hate. Therefore, the judgment of God from heaven is coming upon them if they refuse to repent and believe in Jesus as their Saviour

2. THE CHRISTIAN BEHAVIOUR:
As Christians, although you are still living in this sinful world, God expects you to be separated unto Him. As friends of Jesus, God expects you to: (i) Tell the truth; (ii) Be honest and just; (iii) Be pure and sinless; (iv) Love others around you but hate sin; (v) Be of good behaviour anywhere you may find yourselves; and (vi) Live a life that glorifies Him.

3. CONTINUE AND STAND FIRM: Philippians 4:9; I Peter 1:5-11
Christians will always face trials as long as they remain in this present evil world. Trials could be in form of persecution, problems, failure, sickness and temptation. As friends of Jesus, in times of trials, do not be discouraged but rejoice. When you are going through trials, read the Bible and pray, believing God at all times. He will definitely see you through like He did for Joseph, Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. You must continue to the end

Call to salvation If you are a sinner, you have no hope of
