-Testing new APR CSV file in Sage -New APR canned report

2 Summary of Updates New APR in HMIS New Data Quality Report
Grantees will no longer submit APRs – new system called Sage. Upload CSV data from their HMIS to fulfill the APR reporting requirement in Sage Per HUD request, the 0625 APR report will remain in the ART Gallery until 7/1/2017. The 0631 APR Detail will remain in the ART Gallery until 10/1/2017. Please remember the logic between the “old” and “new” APR reports varies greatly and while both reports will exist simultaneously, their numbers are not meant to be compared and are expected vary. New Data Quality Report This is a new report required by HUD for all CoCs. Data Quality percentages will be submitted at the same time as the System Performance Measures via the HDX. Per HUD, data screens in the HDX will not be an exact match to the format provided to Vendors in the specifications. Several items need to be completed and will be adjusted and included in v2: Calculations in are not filling in Annual Assessment Errors Q7 number of incomplete records

Looks at Universal Data Elements like Veteran, Relationship to HOH, Location, Disability, and Destination Data Quality

Looks at Income data at entry, annual assessment, and exit

Looks at questions related to chronically homeless

14 New Data Quality Framework – Q7 Details
Looks at inactive clients for Street Outreach and Emergency Shelter projects utilizing NbN in HMIS – this does not apply to BOS Projects

16 Canned APR in HMIS Access new APR by logging into Service Point – clicking the Reports tab on the left hand side and look for CoC-APR under Provider Reports

17 Running APR in HMIS Fill out the Prompts and Click Build Report to run the APR Click Search to find your provider Fill out date range Make sure HUD is selected

18 New APR in HMIS No need for a supplemental report – you can select the blue numbers on the APR to see which clients are effected or where the errors are coming from!

19 APR-CSV in HMIS Once you’ve run the APR you will want to export into a CSV file so it can be uploaded into Sage To Export: -Click Download -Save the Zip file and take note of where it is saved

20 APR-CSV in Sage Once you’ve saved your zip file exported from HMIS – log onto: On the main screen you will see: Click the link and toward the bottom of the page you’ll see choose file –select your zip file to Upload and Test

21 Common Error for APR CSV Test in Sage
This is likely due to missing data for the Relationship to Head of Household field. We recommend you click on the “Error Count” link for this field in section 6b of the report to view clients that need to be corrected, and correct the data accordingly.
