Situation Student A Student B 1 You want to buy a CD for your friend’s birthday, but you are not sure what to buy. Ask your partner to give some suggestions. Your partner needs your advice. Please help him or her to make a decision.

Example: JOE: Hi Susan! Can you help me decide what to buy for Peter’s birthday? SUSAN: Sure. What do you have in mind? JOE: Well, Peter loves music, so I thought I would give him a CD. SUSAN: That’s a great idea! What kind of music does he like? _________________ ___________________________

It should be a song that everybody likes and that shows the spirit of your class. Ask your partner to help you.
