Training in the Holly Quran
قال الله تعالى" وَأَعِدُّوا لَهُمْ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ قُوَّةٍ وَمِنْ رِبَاطِ الْخَيْلِ تُرْهِبُونَ بِهِ عَدُوَّ اللَّهِ وَعَدُوَّكُمْ " (سورة الأنفال: آية60). (And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy).

Introduction Practical training is one of the important factors in the educational process. Where the university offers practical opportunity for students to choose and apply what has been learned in theory and in a real work environment and enable them to succeed in the work sites in the future after graduation.

The Structure Administrative organization:
The hospitals affairs deanship includes two admirations: Training Committee. Training Unit.

The Structure Now it served with following Faculty staff:

The processes Deanship Activities:
First we started the activities of the training early 2 years ago. We began with training committee which include the vice dean for hospital affairs and his assistant + representatives from each department.

The processes Then we worked on the regulation (achieved).
Then we jump to formulate the internship Booklet and the Internship Forms (16 forms) also achieved, printed and distributed to the students.

The processes The mentioned activities were accompanied with contacting and approaching the training facilities in order to know the requirements and capacity of training facilities. Then after that we distributed the students equally and according to their willingness into small groups contain 3-5 students per each group.

The Processes Also, we put in our mind the near training facilities for each student and we distributed them accordingly. Two orientation sessions were done.

Training Facilities The No. of the contacted Training Facilities:
The No. of the responded Training Facilities: 23 training facilities = 23/25 = 92 %

The outcome The Number of the distributed Students = 176/176 = 100%
The indicators for the outcome: From the beginning; we formulated 3 forms to measure the satisfaction of the students and the field supervisors. Students’ satisfaction. Field supervisors’ satisfaction: (not done yet).

The feedback from the Students

Positive issues: Generally, students are enjoying the training with assistance of the qualified field supervisors. Students were satisfied with the process and plan of the training made by the deanship. They are satisfied with the variety of training facilities which enhance the acquisition of new experiences.

The training plan is appropriate with the scientific contents aiming to serve the patients and the community to promote health. Areas need improvement: Some of the training facilities enter students directly without orientation. They need medical terminology course + deep details of chronic diseases.

Positive points: The field supervisor in the hospitals are qualified and professional.

Areas need improvement: In PHCs the field supervisors were not qualified, nor present. Some hospitals put students in inappropriate departments. Some of the field supervisors have little knowledge about the skills needed in the training and the did not apply it.

HIMT Positive points: The students are satisfied with the training plan and they join the facilities and become a part of the teamwork. The positive reactions of the field supervisors towards the scientific contents of the training. There is an improvement in the knowledge of the hospital team with the HIMT and its importance.

HIMT Areas need improvement:
There are bit differences in the names of the departments in the hospitals. Sometimes the access to Health Information system is difficult. There are different types of the Health Information system in the hospitals (manual versus electronic).

HIMT Areas need improvement:
Some of the students asked to do some jobs beyond their training. The routine pattern of the training. Some of the field supervisors are interested in the training process where some of them are disinterested.

Environmental Health Generally, the situation is very good.

The Upcoming Processes
1- Students’ supervision during their training in the training facilities: This will be the responsibility of the departments to control over their students (the opportunity is hospital day of the staff). 2- Issuing of the students’ ID to facilitate their entrance to training facilities (deanship of hospitals affairs responsibility).

The Future Plan We faced a problem that there was no faculty supervisors (were absent due to annual vacation). We will assign at least one supervisor to be present in the next year.

The Future Plan We will continue to increase the training facilities vertically (increasing the number of the distributed students +good distribution plan). And horizontally (increasing the number of the training facilities by contacting more facilities (governmental and private).

The Future Plan 3. Deep analysis of the problems aroused and put adequate steps to resolve it. 4. Early preparedness for distribution of second patch of the students (by making detailed electronic survey).
