2. The Representative Experience
Expect it to be different from past years. You all will hold more responsibilities and more important responsibilities than in prior years.
You along with the Officers will help plan events and help them run (especially fundraisers).
We NEED you all in order for us to function. We could not do all of this ourselves so we do truly appreciate your being here today to show you’ll be here to help us.

3. How We Function as a Group
Class of 2018 Class Council
Class Advisors
Give final go-ahead for events fundraisers etc. and help in the planning of events along with official duties such as payment.
Officers
Make final decisions regarding most things, plan events and fundraisers and work with both Class Reps and Class Advisors to ensure all opinions and interests are brought into account.
Class Representatives
Gather opinions and thoughts from Class Members, help with the planning of events, help at the events and aid the Officers in decision making by offering opinions.

4. What We Want to Accomplish
Money - We are hoping to raise about $3500 to $4500 this year through Class Dues and our fundraisers.
Test New Fundraisers – If they are successful they are ours to use and make money off of.
Also to enjoy doing what we are doing while being productive and successful in our efforts.

6. Attendance Policy
The Attendance Policy is written on your orange paper that you received. This attendance policy is what will be used for all meetings and events that are deemed mandatory.
Paper and Digital Records of attendance will be kept by Tom (myself).
Each Class Representative and Class Officer has been gifted 2 allowed unexcused absences.
After those 2 unexcused absences are used you will be issued a friendly reminder/warning that you cannot miss another meeting without giving prior notice to an Officer or Advisor that you will be missing the meeting for a legitimate reason (for example staying after with a teacher for extra help or a dentist appointment).
We are really understanding, we all have other obligations so it isn’t the end of the world if you miss a meeting as long as you have a legit reason.
