We are in regular, friendly contact every day.

Information flow within the country
The Łódź Centre has contact with participating institutions via , phone fax and postal services.
Our Centre distributes all course materials in Poland and other Baltic Region countries (Slovakia, Russia, Belarus and Ukraine).
We are often asked by young people from other cities – via – to advise them how to become a BUP student. In such instances we given them contacts to BUP teachers in their cities and universities.

The staff of our Centre meets every day to discuss the current problems of BUP program.

Annual national meetings
In the year 2004 we did not organise a formal annual national meeting, but teachers of particular courses had a chance to meet at teachers’ conferences in Płock, Ciążeń, Łódź and Kazimierz Dolny.

Good examples from your centre
We distribute course materials by postal services.
We promote BUP, for instance in the first national TV channel.
In April 2005, at the Festival of Science and Art in Łódź, a presentation dedicated to the Baltic University will be made.

In 2004 the Centre organised the following conferences:

Problems at the centre / network etc.
Shortage of finances: the BUP activity is partly financed by the Technical University of Łódź.
Lack of sources for promotion.
We are in contact with teachers but the information flow between course teachers and students is beyond our control.
Students often resign in the last moment from summer events organised by BUP Centre and disorganise in this way our work and do not allow other students to participate in these events.
Some BUP teachers do not update their data and we often have problems to get in touch with them.
