7/29/2018 Year 2 and Year 4 Improvement Plans Plans were due to the California Department of Education (CDE) on January 20, 2015, via the California Accountability and Improvement System (CAIS) Plans will be reviewed in February, March, and April 2015, by the CDE, and the County Office of Education (COE) Regional Leads Title III Plan Review Criteria and related documents are posted on CAIS and on the CDE Title III Requirements Web page at The Improvement Plans are due to CDE on March 10, 2014 on CAIS. CDE, California Comprehensive Center and COE Regional Leads will review these plans during March and April of 2014. 8 Accountabilty Requirements:Y2 & Y4 IP

11 Funding Requirements Per Title III, section 3114: for a fiscal year, eligible Local Educational Agencies (LEA) must have a plan in accordance with Title III section 3116 to receive Title III Funding (LEP & Immigrant) LEAs shall describe programs and activities proposed to be developed, implemented and administered under the subgrant Plan shall describe how the LEA will use subgrant funds to meet all annual measurable objectives

12 2012–13 Sub-grantee Awards September 30, 2014, marks the end of federal the grant period for fiscal year 2012–13 (July 1, 2012–Sept. 30, 2014) Any LEA reporting unspent funds will be invoiced by the CDE.

13 2013–14 Sub-grantee Awards 2013–14 Title III, Part A per pupil amounts: Limited English Proficient (LEP): $102.22 Immigrant: $93.32 LEP & Immigrant grant allocations are now final Grant period ends September 30, 2015 LEAs must file a Cash Management Data Collection (CMDC) report to receive their apportionments Expenditure reports must also be filed in the Consolidated Application Reporting System (CARS) 13 13

Limited English Proficient (LEP): $93.28 Immigrant: $93.11 LEP & Immigrant grant allocations will be finalized on March 31, 2015 Per pupil amounts will be revised to accommodate all LEAs that are eligible and applied for Title III funds 14 14

15 2015–16 Application Applications for LEP and Immigrant funding for 2015–16 are due June 30, 2015 LEAs must have an updated LEA plan (Goal 2) that includes an annual budget plan in accordance with Title III Section 3116 to receive Title III Funding (LEP & Immigrant).
