2 Our mission CareerWise's mission is to create opportunities for youth and businesses across Colorado by developing and supporting an innovative, sustainable youth apprenticeship program. Through this business-led, student-centered model, CareerWise brings together public and private stakeholders to ensure that students have access to the skills and knowledge they need for financial and academic success, and that businesses have access to highly-trained talent

5 REAL-EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE
CareerWise apprenticeships serve as an options multiplier, opening many doors to the students who participate SKILL-FOCUSED TRAINING REAL-EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE TRADITIONAL EDUCATION APPRENTICES CAREERWISE SUPPORT BECOME FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES AFTER THE APPRENTICESHIP, STUDENTS CAN: OR BOTH! CONTINUE TO HIGHER ED SOURCE: Annual American Community Survey ( ); National Center for Education Statistics, Digest of Education Statistics, Public high school 4-year adjusted cohort graduation rate (ACGR)

Our vision is to build a system modeled after the Swiss youth apprenticeship system Swiss Profile <4% youth unemployment rate 70% of all students choose apprenticeships, no stigma – most CEO's have been apprentices 40% of companies participate in the apprenticeship program About 97% of all students have graduated with a VET Diploma (Vocational Education & Training) or other high school degree Swiss companies earn a 10% ROI during apprenticeship
