Numicon We use Numicon throughout the school. Its colours and patterns gives children a real sense of number. In Nursery and Reception, Numicon is used in play activities so that the children become familiar with each shape and number. Hadrian Park Primary School

How can I support my child at home?
Make counting a part of your day Play games which use a dice Have a set of number cards at home Put them in order (forwards/backwards) Flashcards What card comes next? Matching Pairs Pick a card and count out that many objects (pasta, lego) Make patterns Count the stairs as you go up them. How many socks come out of the washing machine?
