FOB FOB Warning! ON : Start OFF : Stop Basic Functions Detector : ON
FOB Mode (Foam On Beer Detector) When a keg is empty or just replaced, beer discharge would not be normal having foam burst out. The FOB Mode prevents this from happening. The flow rate would be faster than usual when foam is about to burst. The FOB Mode of ReverseTap detects this change and shut down the valve to prevent foam from popping. FOB Detector : ON Flow rate x 1.30 • The example screen shown above shows that the FOB Mode will be activated and shut the valve when the flow rate exceeds 1.3 times more of its usual rate. • ON/OFF : While blinking, press the Up and Down button to choose whether to use/not use this function. • Flow rate Coefficient: While blinking, input the coefficient number. (Default : 1.30) • When foam bursts while using ReverseTap, FOB Mode is activated with the screen shown below. FOB Warning! ON : Start OFF : Stop Warning screen Asking FOB Mode ON/OFF • If the FOB Detector is ON and it still cannot detect a foam popping, adjust the coefficient lower than 1.30. • If “FOB Warning” screen appears even though the keg contains a lot of beer, adjust the coefficient higher than 1.30. • Press the START button to continue FOB Mode turned ON. • Press the STOP button to turn off FOB Mode. • Things to do when “FOB Warning” is up. - If a keg is run out of beer. 1. Press the STOP button to stop FOB Mode. 2. After closing the middle valve for CO2 gas, replace a new keg. 3. Discharge all the remaining foam from a chiller and beer line until the beer is dispensed normally. 4. Turn FOB Mode ON when beer is dispensed normally. - If a keg contains enough beer 1. Rerun the PRESET Mode. (Refer to page 6 for detail use of PRESET Mode) (This is a process to reset the flow rate for proper functioning of Detector of FOB Mode.)
