3 School Fees School package notes will be sent home.
Included in the school package is the cost of the Life Education program and Henny Penny hatchings. Kindergarten are supplied with books and pencils. Please help out the school and have the school package fee paid promptly. Additional costs will be incurred for any school based excursions. Chloe

4 Health Care Plans/ Allergies
Any health care plan or change of health care plan needs to be forwarded to the office ASAP. The information in your child’s health care plan/s will be relayed to staff members. Absent notes are required on the first day back following an absence. Lee Anne

5 Additional Programs SPORT DAY Wednesdays
Students will require a water bottle, hat, sport shoes, sunscreen (home). Need to wear sports uniform. LIBRARY Each class has a different day for library. Check with your child’s class teacher. SCRIPTURE Classes are held on Thursday each week. Chloe

Approximately 94% of our students are from Non-English speaking backgrounds. (NESB) In our school alone we have over 40 languages represented. Top 5 languages: Tamil, Hindi, Gujarati, Telugu and Punjabi. Lee Anne

10 The EAL/D teacher Role Support within the classroom.
Focus on talking and listening. Provide students with opportunities to build on their current knowledge or build new knowledge of the English language. Use a variety language based talking and listening activities that focus on grammar, vocabulary and sentence structure. Provide language experiences to assist students in their reading and writing.
