The Rosetta stone was made in 196 B.C.
The stone was found in 1799
The stone is called the Rosetta stone because it was found in a town called Rosetta.
The Rosetta stone lists all of the things that the pharaoh has done that are good for the priests and the people of Egypt.
The Rosetta Stone was written in two languages, Egyptian and Greek using three scripts, Hieroglyphic, Demotic and Greek.
Mr. Avery is kind of picking on the kids, no one will ever know what is really written on the Rosetta Stone. We only have gist of it. Mr. Avery is trying to teach them a lesson even though it doesn’t even say anything about that, he's just being mean to the kids making them feel guilty about making it snow so they wont be bad anymore.
