How did mass production and the assembly line impact the supply of goods and prices? How did the automobile help other industries grow? Which ones were most affected? Give at least 3 examples of consumer goods that developed during the 1920s. Explain why this increase in demand occurred. What does it mean to buy something on credit? How does this lead to increased consumerism? Then, how does consumerism impact the economy? What is welfare capitalism? What impact might welfare capitalism have on union membership? What conditions contributed to the tough times farmers faced in the early 1920s?
