Entering the Locker Room:
Line up in a straight line according to grade level outside Enter the locker room when teacher calls for your grade level Make sure your phone is in your back pack before entering All food and drinks must be thrown away before entering At the end of class you will enter the locker room according to grade level. The straightest line goes in first. If you are a non-suit, you will be the last to go in and you will stand in a separate line.

LOCKER ROOM RULES: Walk inside the locker room NO FOOD or DRINKS allowed inside (No glass containers & no eating at any time) DON’T share lockers, stay in your assigned locker DON’T touch the bulletin boards, white boards or signs posted If you change PE periods, let the PE teacher know that is inside the locker room The locker room is closed before school, after school, during lunch and snack Do not come into the locker room when it is not your PE period. Take what ever you need with you No glass perfume bottles

LOCKER ROOM RULES cont. Take your PE clothes home on Friday to wash and bring them back on Monday Only on Monday mornings, you can enter the locker room before school to put your PE clothes in your locker If you are having problems in the locker room, tell a PE teacher Once you are dressed into your PE clothes, exit the locker room. DO NOT wait for your friends or hang out. Go outside and start walking a 1-1

CELL PHONES: NO CELL PHONES out at all
You cannot have your cell phone out before school, after school, during snack, lunch, or your PE time inside the locker room You cannot have it out to check the time, text, call someone, etc Your cell phone must be in your backpack before you enter the locker room If your cell phone is out, it will be taken away, no exceptions

LOCKER CARDS: There are different colored cards for each grade level
BLUE = 8th grade GREEN = 7th grade YELLOW = 6th grade You will fill out the cards IN PENCIL (printing dark) PENCIL ONLY

LOCKER CARDS cont. Lock serial number 42682041
Write your last name on the first line Write your first name on the second line Write your grade level and period Lock serial number (long MIDDLE number on the back of the lock) 3 number combination Locker Number (assigned by teacher) Section Letter (assigned by teacher) Make sure you write in pencil, write only the long number in the middle (don’t write V62), make sure you bring your lock and clothes on the day you will be assigned lockers

LOCK & LOCKER INFO: Everyone needs to have a lock, NO EXCEPTIONS
Write down your lock and locker information in your binder reminder Write it down on the page number that is the same date as your birthday (example: September 16th = page 16) Write down your lock serial number, combination, locker number, and section DON’T give out your combination to anyone, not even your BFF, hide your numbers when you open it Absolutely No sharing lockers

LOCKERS: Lockers are assigned according to period
Everyone is assigned a small locker Your belongings go in the big locker during your PE time ONLY Make sure you lock everything up Make sure you move all of your items, including your lock to your small locker at the end of class Per 6 Per 5 Per 4 Per 3 You will be grouped in 6 by your friends. You get to pick your own group. Have your group ready to go on locker assigned days Per 2 Per 1 BIG LOCKER Use during PE time ONLY

LOCKERS cont. Make sure your backpack and all of your belongings are secured in your big locker during PE (take things out of your back pack if needed to make it fit) If you didn’t lock your stuff up, check with the PE teacher first before you think it’s stolen Make sure there are no straps or strings hanging out of your locker (things will get tied up if left outside) Make sure everything is locked up inside so nothing gets stolen or ruined

LOCKERS cont. Wrong Locks Lock cut off
Buying a school lock is the best way If you buy your own lock (outside of school) you risk the chance of getting your lock cut off if it ends up on the wrong locker or in the wrong place Do not change lockers without permission from the PE teacher You can add colors to your lock but DO NOT mark your numbers or write your numbers on your lock. Lock cut off

LOCKERS cont. Make sure your locker is kept clean at all times
Clean the dirt out with the broom and dust pan (return after use) Do not tag or make any markings inside or outside of your locker and anybody else’s locker Throw all trash in the trash can

BLUE CAGE: If your lock ends up missing, check the blue cage first to see if it’s there Look in your binder reminder to match up the serial number written down to the number on the back of the lock on the cage

UNIFORMS: First and last name needs to be on both shirts and shorts
Blue/gold shorts only for those that earned it Non-suits = lock up your back pack and go outside. Do not hang out in the locker room

Red Vest Policy Bring in a doctor’s note or parent note to excuse you from PE If you have a note, bring your back pack and place it in the blue cage in exchange for a red vest

LOST IN FOUND: If you lose jewelry, keys, phone, or anything else valuable, check in the PE office Table for lost clothes Red bin for lost shoes Items missing out of your locker that weren’t locked up, check with PE teacher

INFORMATION TABLE: Papers are for you to take
DO NOT take them or mess with them if you don’t want them or they don’t pertain to you

RESTROOMS: Stalls are to be used for the restroom ONLY, not for dressing into your PE clothes Make sure you take all of your belongings with you. DO NOT leave any of your belongings in the stall If you find anything that doesn’t belong to you, turn it into the PE teacher

Miscellaneous: Make sure you ALWAYS leave you lock on your assigned locker the entire year. Don’t take your lock home during holidays or weekends At the end of the year, make sure you clean out your locker completely, otherwise your items will be donated We DO NOT store your stuff over the summer
