2 ASSESSMENT Assessment is an ongoing process during teaching and learning.

4 PRESENTATIONS Clear simple and understandable
Able to express what the learner tries to say Open to any questions Able to integrate with language and content Engaging with the concept Fluent and accurate in language Depth of knowledge

5 Students profile In their last year Computing engineering
Had English lessons 2 hours a week since they started the university with some knowledge of English. 30 students in a classroom.

6 Students A topic Research Get ready

7 Restricted time Given time to choose a topic and research was restricted with 2 weeks

8 Presentation course Given tailored presentation course * time
* key points * visual effect * use of language

9 Students were asked To prepare a presentation including what they learnt in the tailored presentation course.

10 Assessment Rubric Students were asked to assess themselves as well.
The rest of class assessed their friends who were presenting

11 Results * improved their communication abilities
