16 Preparing for Residency
Book room in residency if needed Do not plan family events or recreational time until after your arrival What to bring: Field work – weather unpredictable Laptop (computers in labs; laptop more convenient) Lab coat, 2 lab journals with non-removable pages, closed-toe shoes and long pants (i.e. minimize exposed skin) Scientific Calculator (Recommend Sharp EL-531X or similar) Do not schedule return flights prior to Saturday May 17. Classes/exams on Friday afternoon.

Program Community Group (Drupal) Textbooks (list available approx. one month prior to course start date) Online Courses: Open on official course start date, as per schedule You need to be active immediately Cafeteria onsite, discount cards are available. Please note cooking facilities are limited in residency Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper Arrange parking pass ahead of arrival on campus
