All the powers of old Europe have entered into a holy alliance to exorcise this spectre: Pope and Tsar, Metternich and Guizot, French Radicals and German police-spies.

The history of all hitherto existing society is the history of class struggles.

How do communists relate to other working class people?
The communists do not form a separate party opposed to other working-class parties. They have no interests separate and apart from those of the proletariat as a whole. The communists differ from other working- class parties only in that they support the common interest of all workers of all countries.

All means of production are controlled by the state In theory: free choice of education, religion, employment etc. In Reality: all choice is controlled by the state. Religions abolished
