7 Evaluation Process Time on ice is closed to all but evaluators and PDCs. 5 sessions for Bantam and Peewees [5th session will be BV vs AV scrimmage] 4 sessions for other levels. First two days, players grouped by Last Name’ Pinnies provided at check-in on Day 1. After session 2, 3, 4; groups will be modified. (Updates Posted to tryout page on both websites.) Evaluators will be non-parents On-ice instructors will be non-parents

Goalies will skate too Day 2 Puck handling, shooting, passing Day 3 Small games - 3v3 & 4v4 Day 4 4v4 & 5v5 Day 5 (Bantams and Peewee only) Group 1 scrimmage AV vs BV Group 2 scrimmage mixed teams based on scores

9 Evaluations - Goalies Attend goalie tryout on Sept 24th
Attend all tryout session with your age group in your assigned session. ProHybrid will be providing evaluations on 24th and in group evaluation sessions.

10 Evaluations Jerseys / Helmets / Socks Pinnies
Jerseys and socks worn must be neutral or Burnsville colors. gold/white/black. Non-Burnsville helmet stickers must be removed. No player names allowed on helmets. Pinnies Tryout pinnies will be provided at the first tryout session during check-in. Each player keeps the same numbered pinnie throughout the tryout process. Player must bring their pinnie to each session. No changing pinnies with other players once assigned.

12 Evaluations: Misc If you are unable to make a session, you must contact your Level Coordinator ASAP. Do not contact the Tryout Committee members. Do not go to a different tryout time slot. For Bantams and Peewees: No guarantee the groups will be even in size for day It is natural with each association choosing their own “A” team to have a bigger Group 1 than Group 2. This does not affect your player’s ability to move up and down between the groups.

14 Evaluations: Check the Schedule...
Each day after day 2: Check the Burnsville or Apple Valley website for your player’s pinnie number to determine when they skate the next ice time. The pages are mirrored. We will post the groups as quickly as possible after each session.

15 Following Evaluations
Teams will be selected and posted as quickly as possible following selection. Teams will be posted on Burnsville website. Teams will begin skating immediately.

16 Ice Bills Based on actual costs & includes: Tournament fees
Practice & Game ice District fees Advanced Team Fee Payments: Monthly

17 Parents Code of Conduct
Review the Parent’s Code of Conduct in the BHC Handbook. Key Items: Support the coaches and players. Keep negative comments to yourself. Refs ref, coaches coach, parent cheer. Allow 24 hours after incident to voice concerns. Speak with the Coach first, then Escalate to your level coordinator if necessary.

18 Locker Room Monitors Locker room monitors are required by the USA Hockey Safesport program This is not optional and there will be suspensions and fines if we do not follow protocol. Locker room monitors must be in the locker room. Must have MN Hockey background screening Clinics and Evaluation Dibs shifts are open

19 Volunteer Information
Per Player Requirement: 3 Dibs How to complete: Thanksgiving Tournament District 6 Tournament Hockey Moms Sales Evaluations and Clinics Mite Jamboree (TBD) TC Clean Up Burnsville families will complete Dibs within Burnsville, Apple Valley families will complete Dibs within AV. Team volunteer hours are shared between both organizations on Coop teams.

20 Fundraiser/Photo Information
Raffle – Only Fundraiser this Season Available for pickup early November. Must be returned by Jan 14. Drawing will be Feb 7th or 8th at Clives. Only Burnsville skaters will sell Raffle tickets. Pictures Picture day is Nov 21 for all levels except Mites and Jr Gold. Location is the Apple Valley TC for all teams. Times will be sent to individual teams based on schedules. Mites and Jr Gold in Dec once teams formed.
