CollabCAD CAD Group, National Informatics Centre
had been developing a 3D CAD / CAM Software called CollabCAD For Indian Strategic Sectors, like: Space, Atomic Energy… Registered in US Patent Trademark Office. Based on Open Source / Libraries like: Java, Java 3D, OpenCascade , PostgreSQL CollabCAD runs on Windows, Linux and Solaris platforms.
4
Genesis of CollabLand Requests from states like TN, Karnataka, Kerala for: A software for drawing Survey Maps, to be incorporated in the existing software for non-spatial Land Record Data. A cost effective solution for deployment upto Taluk/Block level, based on Open-Source technology A system to provide the citizens, the Maps (FMB Extracts) of their plots on demand at an affordable price. A solution where the Government holds the technology, for further enhancement and support.
5
Main Objectives Viewing / Printing Survey Maps as a Citizen Service
Create Survey Maps from 5-Column Ladder Data Viewing / Printing Survey Maps as a Citizen Service Perform Transactions like Sub-Divisioning & Merging Provide integrated Solution with Non-Spatial Data
6
Version History 1.6 (May 2008) State-wide roll-out in Tamilnadu
(Jan 2008) Commercial deployment in Kerala (Aug 2007) Pilot run in Kerala (Total Station) (Dec 2006) (Jun 2006) (Aug 2005) Pilot run in two Taluks in Tamilnadu (Jun 2005)
