Management is organizing tasks and objectives provided by a higher authority and maintaining the current standard. Management focuses on the end product and reaching it in the most efficient way possible Managers try to attain maximum benefits and efficiency from current resources. This role focuses on the bottom line. Management works towards planning and facilitating in order to reach desired results. Leadership is using influence to guide the team’s work. This role take’s a broad, eyes-on-the- horizon perspective in a continually changing environment Leadership is inspiring others, motivating people, and setting an original standard for goals and ideas. Leadership involves coaching, inspiring, motivating, and building a trusting relationship. Leadership is about the process and focuses on the motivation, inspiration, and relationships that are associated with it.
