CS5040 Course Overview Introduction to C++ Pointers, C++ arrays, reference types, strings, classes, sorting algorithms Linear data structures & STL Lists, stacks, queues, priority queues Trees Binary search trees, balanced tree, B-trees Graphs Directly vs. undirected, adjacency matrix vs. adjacency lists, weighted graphs

Assignment Submission Policy
Homework Submission: Copying or paraphrasing codes from other sources or other students will be considered a violation of the Student Code of Conduct. Due dates for homework assignments will be specified on the homework themselves. No late submission is accepted. Regular attendance is expected; please notify me in advance if you will be unable to attend because of business travel or other valid reason. If a student misses more than 2 classes, the student's final grade may be decreased.

Grading is to criterion, no competition among members of the classes!
Grading Criteria [90-100] A [80-90) B [70-80) C [60-70) D [0,60) F Grading is to criterion, no competition among members of the classes! Everybody have a chance to get A if you work for it. Depends on the progress, extra credit would be available.
