Why Joe louis was famous?
Joe Louis became famous through his commitment and in the face of constant racism, and all of his achievements as a boxer. Joe Louis helped boost the confidence of blacks.

Personal Life Born in Lafayette, Alabama on May 13, 1914 and died April 12, 1981. As a child Louis’ family had financial struggles as well as mental due to his father going to an Asylum. After Louis joined a gang, his mother made him stop by making him take Violin lessons. During the violin lessons, he instead used the money to go boxing and signed up under the name Joe Louis so his mom would not find out. Joe Louis was married 4 times and had 3 children with an additional 4 that were adopted.

Personal Opinions After reading and reading and reading about Joe Louis I decided that he is and was the best boxer of all time. He was very committed and basically rose from dust to gold.
