1. Make a Textiles related crossword, (at least 10 words). Your questions need to give clues about a Textile technique, skill, piece of equipment.
3. Create a cartoon strip showing how to carry out a textile technique of your choice. You need to add images and explanations to give instruction and show your knowledge and skill.
5. Design a Sensory Toy for a baby, you will need to consider safety precautions within your design. You design needs to be coloured in and annotated explaining how it will aid a child’s development.
7. Research Natural and Synthentic fibres and produce a leaflet showing your findings. It has to be bright, bold, informative and colourful.
2. Produce a 5 question quiz of what you have learnt during this lesson to ask the class. Make sure you have the correct answers to go with your quiz.
4. Explore a fashion label of your choice. Present, (2x A4 sides) information about the brand. Think product range, target market, how long the brand has been going and brand development
6. Write a letter your local council explaining the need for and benefits of clothes recycling banks. Talk about why recycling is best for the environment.
8. Customise an old piece of clothing (e.g t-shirt, shorts, jeans) You can up-cycle it (turn it into something else wearable) or you can improve it by adding embellishment and colour.
