Canada’s Response Britain declare war on Germany when Germany invaded Poland (tipping point) Canada now needs to make a decision (Britain ASKED Canada to help) Canada’s mind (people / PM) – Isolationists (isolate-alone, independant) = Wanted to stay out of WW2 No Sacrifice of lives (don’t risk lives) Believed Treaty of Versailles was unfair WW2 did not involve or threaten Canada
