Able-bodied and attending Carols in the Park this year? We urgently need volunteers to help with set-up and take-down for CITP. The morning work will be done between 9 and ~11.30 and clear up after the show should take a couple of hours. Help in either/ both of the morning or evening will be much appreciated. Please contact James Bell if you think you can help or on ) STORAGE NEEDED FOR CitP ITEMS Does anyone have a dry garage/cellar/attic space where we could store some Carols in the Park items during the year? We’re looking for storage for the pieces of scaffolding (poles & brackets) and the (folded-down!) mince pie gazebo. See Robin. GIRLS’ NIGHT OUT Girls’ Night Out on Thursday 19th November at 8pm at Seven Arts in Chapel Allerton. Speak to Rachel Hirst, Lisa Baxby or Ali Clarke for more details and come along! KIDS KLUB BIG BREAKFAST Eat, drink, pray and connect with the work of Kidz Klub on Saturday 28th November from 8.30am at Bridge Street Church. THIS COMING WEEK Tuesdays at 12.30pm from now on in the church office - a short prayer meeting with the staff and whoever would like to pray for Chapel A. Housegroups generally meet on Monday, Tuesday and alternate Thursday evenings. Please see notice board in corridor. Tuesdays - Totally Tuesday for Years 5-7, pm in Chapel All. Methodist Hall. Wednesday – WOW youth group for Years 8+ in Chapel Allerton Methodist Hall. Please contact Hannah Dey on or about any of our usual groups for young people. Set up in November – Dave Herringshaw & Ruth Esplin’s housegroup Set up in December – Mike Nix & Ruth Small’s housegroup Please note that we are not allowed to use the equipment in the lower playground and that any children playing there must be supervised by an adult. Thank you! Today Stuart will be leading our worship and after the break Jan and Robin will be continuing our series “From Here to Maturity”, talking on “I win the battles in my head”. We will hold a 2 minute silence for Remembrance Sunday at 11am and will be joining together for communion at the end of the morning. Welcome to Chapel A PRAYER FOR LEEDS The next Prayer for Leeds is from 7pm on Friday 13th to 7pm on Saturday 14th November at Living Hope Church, Saxton Lane. On the Friday night there is a special youth only session – Prayer and Pizza from 7.30pm! See Hannah Dey for details. FOOD BANQUET Leeds North Foodbank invite you to a food banquet on Friday 13th Nov at 7.30pm to raise much-needed funds. It costs £10 per person and is at Gateway Church LS2. Please book via MESSY CHURCH The next Messy Church is next Sunday, 15th November, from 3.30pm till 5.30pm at the Methodist Centre. Come along with friends and join in the fun, or do remember to pray for the event. PARENTALK Care for the Family are coming to Leeds on Tuesday 17th November to present “Parenting under 12s – a survival guide!”. It will be led by Rob Parsons and Katharine Hill from Care for the Family. It’s at St George’s from 7.30 – 10pm and tickets cost £6 from . CAROLS IN THE PARK Carols in the Park is on Sunday 13th December from 4.30 till 5.30pm in Chapel Allerton Park. Please pray for the event and your part in it.
