3. Who We Are
The Paddleball Family Alliance was created to help grow the sport of Paddleball in the tri-state area by getting the youth involved and teaching them the game, sportsmanship and at the same time creating healthier attitude to eliminate obesity through highly competitive athletic activities. It also provides a forum for paddleball discussions and introduces the sport of Paddleball to a new generation of players with the end result of having the game grow in popularity; as it did in the 70s & 80s when it ruled the Tri-state area public parks. The Paddleball Family Alliance currently has over 500 members on Facebook.

4. Mission & Vision Statements
Mission Statement
Grow the sport of Paddleball across the NY Tri-State area and eventually nationally by reintroducing the youth back into the sport of paddleball and provide them a recreational sport that will keep them off the street and create healthier attitudes, with the goal of eliminating obesity, increase self-esteem and a sense of accomplishments through highly competitive Paddleball activities.
Vision Statement
Introduce the sport of Paddleball to schools and youth programs throughout the New York Tri-State area by 2020.

5. Objectives
Teach our youth the sport of paddleball via work-shops(clinics) and encourage parent participation.
Help our youth build a high level of self-esteem and a sense of accomplishment.
Provide a recreational environment and help keep our youth off the streets.
Grow the sport of Paddleball across the tristate area and eventually nationally.
Work closely with other Paddleball groups to grow the sport.
Attract sponsors to help fund paddleball activities via our Booster program.
Rollout clinic program to YMCA, Boys & Girls Club, Schools.

6. Structure Trained coaches to demonstrate the game:
Fundamentals
Rules
Preparation
Rewards
Speakers to demonstrate the history of the game and establishment of long-term and life-long relationships that extend beyond the court.
Securing ongoing funding for future events.

7. Success Factors
Recruit the next generation of paddleball players via clinics and retain the existing players.
Attract enough sponsors to help the Paddleball Family Alliance fund Paddleball events.

8. Milestones
Established Kids clinics and completed 1st instructional clinic at Orchard Beach in the Bronx where 35 kids attended – August / September 30, 2015.
Successfully run Paddleball Family 2nd Annual Winter Championship Tournament on November 21, 2015 – Completed.
Expand clinic program with Kips Bay and Boys & Girls – Completed.
Expand clinic program with Department of Education schools.
