Aim of Study These hotspots has led to: Conflicts Project Abandonment Inability to achieve project deliverables, etc (Ying et al., 2014) As a result, relationship has become essential in the business environment of which the construction industry is not an exception A contractual and a working relationship exist between the client and the contractor (Pala et al., 2014) Unfortunately, both form of relationships in the construction industry have been aggressive between clients and contractors Projects involve many stakeholders. However, most of the projects involve the client and contractor The study identifies factors central to relationship building between client and contractors in the Ghanaian Construction Industry Projects involve many stakeholders however, most of the projects involve the client and contractor: There is a contractual relationship between the client and the contractor. There is a working relationship between the client and the contractor (Pala et al., 2014) Unfortunately, both form of relationships in the construction industry have been aggressive between clients and contractors. These hotspots has led to: Conflicts Project Abandonment Inability to achieve project deliverables, etc (Ying et al., 2014) As a result of that, relationship has become essential in the business environment of which the construction industry is not an exception.
