Our company was born in Costa Rica, Central America, as an organization which exports fresh fruits and vegetables to Canada with the quality standards required by the market for end consumers

Costa Rica, has two oceans, and has two major ports to export. By road, there are 238km between the two ports. The travel time is four hours ten minutes, if you decide to travel by car between these ports. If you export to Vancouver, Canada. A shipping company has a maritime traffic of about 19 days, and to Toronto or Montreal the time is between 9 to 10 days
4
Comply with market requirements, it has always been the goal of the company, so in the issue of quality, we are devoted to the fullest with all our export products. The trainings for farmers and for people working in the packing plant, are part of the answer to maintain the necessary quality and food safety control and traceability of the products we ship in each of our exports.
5
The company also has a group of collaborators for the packing process, they work with the different products that we export, this staff has an extend experience in their specialized tasks. Also, the company has field inspectors, which arrive weekly to cultivated plots to follow up on good agricultural practices, and check the quality of the products that are exported. So our company is small, but well organized
7
The company creates its bases through a strategic alliance with a group of farmers, that start working with papaya and guava, always with a view to export. The efforts of the alliance with farmers reach their goals in 2016 when we were able to export papaya to Canada every week since late January until the present date. Today, in addition to the amount of papaya that we regularly export, we can export two more containers each with 1080 boxes of 14Kg of papaya, in every week during the year. We can even create a program in the medium term, to double current production

The maturity with which we, Geo Fresh Costa Rica, work regularly when exporting is two to three stripes defined, but from December to April we can export to 85% of maturation or four to five stripes maturity . We also have the knowledge to harvest other stages of development about growing papaya. We cut green papaya for the kitchen of Costa Rica, who used to prepare local dishes.
