Children with special health care needs in Mongolia Odontuya Davaasuren1, Munkhtsetseg Shirnen 2 Conclusion: 56.04% of children died because of incurable diseases in the NCMCH and 2225 disabled children in Ulaanbaatar. These data make adjustment for establishing pediatrics palliative care ward in the NCMCH. Aim: To assess the incidence of children with special health care needs in Mongolia Results: About 970,000 (32.33%) children aged 0-18 in Mongolia with 3 million population. 52,308 children, hospitalized in the National Center for Maternal and Child Health (NCMCH) in and 546 (1.04%) children died in the NCMCH during 3 years. 189 (34.61%) children died because of congenital malformations, 50 (9.15%) children died because of cancer, 44 (8.05%) because of neurological disorders, 9 (1.64%) children- because of circulatory disorders, 4 (0.73%) children- because of kidney failure, 3 (0.54%)- because of severe endocrine disorder. Analysis of disabled children in Ulaanbaatar in 2013 shows, that totally disabled children: 868 children with mental disability, physical disability, blindness, 281- deafness. Methodology: Retrospective study of 52,308 children, hospitalized in the National Center for Maternal and Child Health (NCMCH) in , and analysis their death rate by incurable conditions.
