Objective: To find out how learners in Latin America were using the knowledge gained in our MOOCs to improve their academic, professional and social life Sent to 46,563 learners (on July 2017) who accessed 30% or more of the available learning resources in 25 MOOCs in Spanish offered from 2014 to 2016 6,582 responses (14.1% response rate)

Take Aways MOOCs are positively impacting the academic, professional and social life of learners in Latin America MOOCs are generating benefits, especially in less developed countries where access to formal education and ICT access, use and skills are more limited Reported use of knowledge to improve life of learners is not correlated with their progress in the course
