AO2 AO2A : Accurately and independently, candidate will produce a comprehensive description of the job roles of two key workers who are involved in promoting health, showing an in-depth understanding of the tasks they perform; there will be justification of the skills and qualities each key worker requires to ensure the needs of the individual are met; AO2B : an explanation of two preventative measures the chosen key workers would apply will be included; candidates will show an in-depth understanding of the reasons for the preventative measures being applied; AO2C : candidates will show an in-depth understanding of the implications of current health promotion initiatives

AO2 Describe the job role of your key worker. Include every day duties
Identify some of the key skill they must have. Identify two preventative measures they would use (e.g. hygiene, contraception) Describe why the preventative measures are part of their job role. Research health promotion initiatives that may be part of their job role which you may ask them if they use.

Types of Health Promotion
Health can be promoted when people are fully fit, have a permanent disability or are chronically sick. Health promoters aim to enable people to be as well as possible Primary Health Promotion- Primary health promotion means preventing ill health occurring at all Secondary Health Promotion- Secondary health promotion involves detecting illness in early stages through screening or medical examination and giving treatment to correct any abnormality Tertiary Health Promotion- Tertiary health promotion involves preventing an existing condition from worsening Health promotion strategies worksheet
