Esther was notified of how she could serve both God and her people.
Esther, at first, turned down the job.
But Mordecai told her some things that changed her mind.

He told her that she would not be safe just because she was in the king’s family.
He told her God could find someone else, but that she would perish.
He opened the door to the possibility that God was involved and had put her in this position just for this.

1:6 – Jeremiah told God he has the wrong person for the job…He was too young.
– God told him he is the right person for the job. JEREMIAH DOESN’T SAY A WORD.

12. Others Amos – “I am just a fig farmer, but God made me a prophet.”
Gideon – “I am least in my father’s house and my family is least of my tribe.”
Saul – Said something very similar as Gideon. When Samuel came to anoint him, he was hiding behind the baggage.
