A UI does not need a host certificate;
Any user of the UI needs his user certificate;
Open the firewall:
Globus tcp port range:
Connection to RB, BDII, myproxy, LFC etc...
DO NOT use a private network for the UI!!!!

Test the UI
As a user:
Copy the usercert/key in $HOME/.globus directory
Initialize the proxy
Test the connection:

Creates .globus directory
Creates JobOutput directory

Set a cron job to update CRL periodically
