Dough Vs Doe Dough- a mixture consisting of flour and liquid. Stiff enough to knead or roll Doe- the adult female version of various mammals An easy method of telling the difference is to remember that dough is for bread, and doe is for animals!

Flew vs. Flu Flew- to move or pass through the air with wings.
Flu- any of several viruses marked especially by respiratory or intestinal symptoms. To tell the difference, Flu is NOT to be confused with the act of flying. They are different. Flu is relating to human sickness

Meet vs. Meat Meet- to become acquainted with
Meat- edible part of something distinguishable from its covering such as a husk or shell. To tell the difference, you can’t eat meet, that would be silly! But you can, however, eat meat!

Wail vs. Whale Wail- the act of crying out often in anguish and/or misery Whale- the ocean’s elephant. To tell the difference, Wail is a sound, and Whales create sound! Wail is also NOT an aquatic creature!
