47-mile stretch of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe rail corridor from Renton to Snohomish into a multiuse trail.

Business impacts. Boeing uses the Eastside rail line to move fuselage pieces between Renton and Everett.
It would be difficult and expensive to reconvert the trail to rail use once the tracks had been removed.
No Spirit of Washington dinner train.

The trail will become a great benefit for the region. Because of its close proximity to important recreation and transportation facilities.
In miles proximity of the trail, there are 9 parks and 6 schools.
